How Are Donations Used?
PROVIDING AN ITEM
When we don't have an item that a child has requested, this amount helps us run out and purchase it.
On average, this is the estimated cost of one order provided to each child who uses our services.
This amount helps with our operating costs such as storage units, facility rent and utilities, website and phone costs, etc.
Additional Donation Options
Request donations on our behalf using Facebook. When creating a Facebook post click Raise Money. Then, search for the name Wardrobe Treasure Valley Corporation. Don't forget to include the reasons why your family and friends should donate to us.
Since we began operating in 2019, we have served over 1,200 youth in foster and kinship care. We've given out over $35,000 worth of clothing and belongings, mainly supplied through donations. However, we're growing and fast. We've come this far working out of garages, outdoors in the summer, and out of spaces smaller than 450 square feet. We need funding that will allow us to keep up with the growing demand as more children enter foster care each year. We need a larger space to work out of, where kids of all ages can come and shop for themselves. Unfortunately, that will come with overhead expenses that we cannot afford without your help. We are an independent 501(c)(3) that allows us to work with more flexibility than if we were partnered to a government entity, but that also deprives us of certain revenues of funding. We value our flexibility, but we need your help to continue operating.
